Breakfast & Hot Lunch Program

"Breakfast in the Classroom" is now in progress.Breakfast is FREE for all students and is served daily for all children in Grades PK through 5th in the classroom from 8 until 8:15am.

 

Lunchtimes are as follows:

10:55: Kindergarten

11:10: Pre-K  - Lunch in the classroom

11:20: Grades 1 & 2

11:50: Grades 3 & 4

12:15: Grade 5

 

Hot Lunch is available to all students, some free or at a reduced rate. If you would like your child to receive a hot lunch, please send in the required amount on the appropriate day (notices will be sent home monthly). Lunch money is collected on Tuesdays, once a month. You may also pay online at myschoolbucks.com.

 

Hot lunch is $1.75 per day.

Breakfast is no charge and Milk (without lunch) .25 cents per day.

Please send in the exact amount in an envelope labeled with child's name, class and amount. Cash (no pennies), or checks made payable to P.S. 159Q.

 

In order to provide our students with a choice of snacks, the following items are being sold:

Mini Chocolate Chip cookies - $1.00

Doritos (assorted flavors) - $1.00

Baked potato chips (assorted flavors) - $1.00

 

*If your child does buy a snack, we shall assume that he/she has your approval to do so.

 

Arrival & Dismissal Schedule

All Students are expected at school by 8:00 am

Doors will open at 7:30 am. Do not bring children earlier because there will be no adult supervision.

All students will be dismissed at 2:20 pm
